وقال أحد المشيعين في رسالة أودعها على الموقع الإلكتروني الذي خصص للرسائل التأبينية "أشعر بالأسى لأنني سأقول هذا، لكنني لم أكن أحبه،" مضيفا "لقد كان منظره سيئا.. ومسيرته متعثرة.. في آخر سنوات عمره.. لكن كان دائما موجودا عندما احتجناه.. علينا أن نعترف بذلك."

IE6, as it was known, was born on Aug. 27, 2001, to parent Microsoft Corp. and was presented to the world by its loving caretaker, Windows XP. It is survived by Microsoft, Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8.
A funeral will be held Thursday at the Forest Room 5 bar in Denver. Services will be hosted by Aten Design Group, whose employees had a complex relationship with IE6.Internet Explorer 6 died on March 1, 2010, in Mountain View, Calif.,

The service starts at 7 p.m. Funeral attire is encouraged. Those unable to attend are asked to send flowers.And guess who sent flowers, Microsoft.
