سارة نجحت في زيادة طولها 10 سنتمترات



البعض يشتكون من قصر قامتهم ويتعرضون لبعض التعليقات اللاذعة ورغم ذلك فهم لا يفكرون اطلاقا في اجراء عملية جراحية لزيادة طولهم ..ولكن سارة فورمان لم تكن من هذه النوعية وقررت السفر الى سيبيريا البعيدة حيث يتواجد مستشفى خاص لاجراء عملية التطويل ..سارة اجتازت العملية وفترة التأهيل بنجاح واصبح طولها اكثر بعشرة سنتمترات من ذي قبل وحول العملية تقول سارة بأنها مؤلمة جدا وشاقة ..وتتلخص بكسر عظم الساقين ومباعدتهما عن بعض واعطاء المجال لنمو العظام الجديدة حتى تقوم بوصل طرفي العظم ويستغرق نمو هذه العظام 4 اشهر في المتوسط ..وقد حاز هذا المستشفى الموجود في سيبيريا على الاعجاب والاقبال من قبل اشخاص كثيرين قصدوه اما لزيادة طولهم او لتصحيح التشوه عند البعض الذين يملكون ساقا اطول من الاخرى

100 skydivers form a diamond




For a few precious seconds these 100 skydivers linked up, thousands of feet above Florida.
It was all the time they needed to break the world record for the largest number to gather in a single formation.This diamond formation, made of 100 skydivers jumping from five different planes, is roughly the size of a 747 jumbo jet.

Land Rover car sculpture




During the Festival of Speed held in Goodwood, between July 11 and July 13, Land Rover celebrated 60 years since the company was founded and they erected a 34-meters high sculpture that featured cars produced by the British manufacturer and the latest model, the Land Rover LRX on top. This Land Rover car sculpture is the work of acclaimed artist Gerry Judah.

Whale blows bubbles in Tokyo



A beluga whale blows bubbles of air underwater at the Aquas aquarium in Hamada, 700km (434 miles) south-west of Tokyo. The whales have delighted thousands of visitors since being taught the impressive trick by scuba divers in a pool.

Beijing sinks in polluted smog



With only 11 days to go until the start of the Beijing Olympics, this was the smoggy scene in the Chinese capital yesterday.
Visibility was down to half a mile in some parts, including the National Stadium, while the Athletes' Village complex could not be seen from the nearby Olympic Green.
The city's notoriously polluted air has cast a cloud over the Games, with organisers threatening to postpone events if it is bad.
City officials confidently - and possibly unwisely - predict that air quality will be good for the Games. Their efforts to curb pollution include taking half of Beijing's 3.3million vehicles off the roads and closing factories.

Girl, 3, crushed by garden wall



A girl of three was killed when a large garden wall toppled over onto her in a 'million to one' freak accident.Megan Burgess had been out for a walk on a footpath with her mother Lindsay, 28, in the warm sunshine.But as they passed a six foot high breeze-block wall it wobbled and then toppled over onto the child.
She was freed from the rubble and rushed to hospital but later died from her injuries.
The incident happened at around 11.30am on Saturday morning as the little girl was walking with her mother on a footpath around 100 yards from their house in Prestatyn, North Wales.

The red city:Marrakech





Situated at the foot of the Atlas Mountains is the beautiful imperial city of Marrakech or Marrakesh — known as the “Red City” or “Al Hamra” — capital of the Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz region in southwestern Morocco, fascinating and rich in of history and culture.The city is spelled “Marrakech” in French, “Marrakesh” in English, and “Marrakesch” in German. It is the 4th largest city in Morocco after Casablanca, Rabat, and Fès, known to early travelers as “Morocco City.”
Prior to the reign of Moulay Ismail, Marrakech was the capital of Morocco. After his reign, his grandson moved the capital back to Marrakech from Meknès.
For centuries Marrakesh has been known for its ‘7 saints.’ When sufism was at the height of its popularity, during the reign of Moulay Ismail, the festival of the ’seven saints’ was founded by Abu Ali al-Hassan al-Yusi at the request of the sultan. The 7 saints include Sidi Bel Abbas — the patron saint of the city — Sidi Muhammad al-Jazuli, Sidi Abu al-Qasim Al-Suhayli, Cadi Ayyad ben Moussa, and Abdallah al-Ghazwani.

Widely known as the Pink City, Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan state, founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the ruler of Amber.Built of pink stucco in imitation of sandstone, the city is remarkable among pre-modern Indian cities for the width and regularity of its streets.The Palace quarter encloses a sprawling palace complex (the Hawa Mahal, or palace of winds), formal gardens, and a small lake. Nahargarh Fort crowns the hill in the northwest corner of the old city.

The blue city:Jodhpur





Jodhpur — known as the Blue City for the color of its buildings — is the second largest city in Rajasthan, the largest state of the Republic of India, standing at the edge of the large, inhospitable Great Indian Desert (Thar Desert), which has an edge paralleling the Sutlej-Indus river valley along its border with Pakistan.Most of the buildings in the old quarter are painted blue to signify the Bhraman (Priest) class, but non-Brahmins soon followed suit, as the color was said to deflect the heat and deter mosquitoes, and suddenly everything turned blue, creating a broad vision of indigo from the hilltops.

Obama suports Israel, beware muslims




Barack Obama made a surprise pre-dawn visit to Jerusalem's Western Wall on 24th july 2008, at the end of a trip aimed at showing his strong support for Israel.
The Democrat presidential hopeful, wearing a Jewish skullcap, placed a prayer he had written in the wall and bowed his head while a rabbi read a psalm calling for peace in the holy city. He assured Israel and its U.S. Jewish supporters on Wednesday that he was a friend who would not press for concessions in peace talks with Palestinians that would compromise its security.

John Ho, who runs the Yvonne Hair and Nails salon with his wife, Yvonne Le wanted to come up with something unique while finding a replacement for pedicures that use razors to scrape off dead skin. The fish, which are called garra rufa but typically known as doctor fish. They were first used in Turkey and have become popular in some Asian countries.
