بيرلسكوني يغضب النساء..Women anger over comments by Berlusconi

روما - أكثر من 100 ألف امرأة ايطالية وقعن على عريضة اطلقتها صحيفة «ريبوبليكا» اليسارية احتجاجا على تصرفات رئيس الحكومة الايطالية سيلفيو برلوسكوني «التي تحمل طابعا ذكوريا» وسلوكه الذي غالبا ما تنقصه الكياسة تجاههن.وجاء في نص العريضة التي اطلقتها «ريبوبليكا» «هذا الرجل يهيننا فلنضع حدا له» حفاظا على «كرامة النساء».أتت العريضة في اعقاب تصريحات سيلفيو برلوسكوني حول روزي بندي (58 عاما) النائبة عن الحزب الديموقراطي (يسار) قال فيها خلال برنامج تلفزيوني «ان جمالها يفوق ذكاءها».وتدفقت ردود الايطاليات العنيفة على الصحيفة مزودة بصورهن الشمسية ورسائل تحتوي على عبارات على النحو التالي «يهيننا نحن النساء رئيس حكومة مخيب للامال» او «نحن لسنا تحت تصرفك» وايضا «هذه الإهانة صادرة عن رجل تتفوق صراحته على ذكائه». وافادت «ريبوبليكا» ان اكثر من 98 الف ايطالية وقعن على هذه العريضة في غضون عشرة أيام

Nearly 100,000 Italian women have signed a petition expressing anger over an insult by PM Silvio Berlusconi to a female politician on live television.Mr Berlusconi said the woman, 58-year-old Rosy Bindi, was "more beautiful than intelligent".The prime minister says his comments were a joke, but he has been accused of chauvinism.Mr Berlusconi's remark provoked indignation and anger from many ordinary Italians, who said they objected to him muddying a political debate with insults about an opponent's appearance.
Thousands of women have pledged their support to an online petition on the website of the Left-leaning La Repubblica newspaper, with many posting photographs of themselves and messages saying they are offended by the prime minister.
"This insult comes from a man who is more honest than intelligent," read one message, while other photographs were superimposed with the words: "We are not your concubines".
