أثار إعلانٌ تجاري يظهر فيه رجلٌ وهو يسحب بفمه جرذاً من ذيله بعد شرائه أدوية عن طريق الانترنت اشمئزاز عدد من البريطانيين وطالبوا بوقف عرضه على التلفزيون.
وكانت شركة الأدوية العملاقة "فايزر" قد اذاعة الإعلان الذي يهدف إلى تحذير المستهلكين من شراء الأدوية بشكل غير قانوني عن طريق الانترنت عقب اكتشاف مادة سامة تستخدم لقتل الجرذان والقوارض في بعض الأدوية المزيفة التي يتم شراؤها بهذه الطريقة. وينتهي

It shows a man taking what appears to be an ordinary pill.
But his face then turns to shock when he pulls out a rat's tail from his mouth - followed by the whole animal.In a survey, more than one in seven British adults (15%) admitted bypassing the healthcare system to get hold of prescription-only medicine without a prescription.
Some 78% of doctors say this practice is putting people's health and potentially their lives at risk because some of the medicines obtained in this way may be counterfeit.
The rodent example was used because some fake medicines could contain rat poison.
