Apple Pie Without Apple

This is a recipe for apple pie made without apples. It has all the characteristics of an apple pie with apples. If you didn't know better, you'd think that there really were apples in it. This is an old chemistry lab experiment to teach the limits of human senses.

2 cups water
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar

This young lady was born deaf. Now 29 years old, her husband recorded the moment her hearing implant is activated. She explained in the YouTube comments:
“I had an implant put in 8 weeks ago called The Esteem Implant by Envoy Medical. I was born deaf and have worn hearing aids from the age of 2, but hearing aids only help so much. I have gotten by this long in life by reading lips. This was taken as they were activating the implant.”

قاطع رجل خطاباً كان يلقيه الرئيس الأميركي، باراك أوباما، أمس، في لوس أنجلوس، صارخاً "المسيح هو الربّ .. أنت عدو للمسيح ". وذكرت قناة "أيه بي سي" أن أوباما كان قد شرع في إلقاء خطابه في قصر البلوز في لوس أنجلس لحشد الدعم لحملته الانتخابية لعام 2012، حين قاطعه شاب ملتح وهو يصرخ "يسوع المسيح هو الربّ"، غير أن حرّاس الرئيس سارعوا في إخراج الرجل من المكان. واتهم الرجل أوباما بأنه مخرّب، غير أن مؤيديه ردّوا عليه وصرخوا "4 سنوات إضافية". وقد تابع الرئيس خطابه، وأخذ القضية بالمزاح قائلاً إنه يؤمن بما قاله الرجل حول المسيح
