When four-year-old Harley Slack was struck down with meningitis, his parents were convinced he could not survive.
Both his arms and his legs had to be amputated after septicaemia set in, and his heart stopped beating three times.
Against all odds, however, the little boy pulled through. And his grateful mother and father, Adam and Samantha, are determined to help him lead as normal a life as possible.
That will mean raising money for artificial limbs and adapting their home to cater for his disability.
