A total of 10 couples in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, took part in an eye-catching wedding ceremony at the Hangzhou Paradise Amusement Park on Sunday.
The term 'naked wedding' refers to a marriage born from love and without the material things, normally shown by the purchasing of a house and car.
The couples interpreted the expression in its most literal sense, stripping down to their underwear and covering themselves in body paint before pledging their eternal love, according to posts on Weibo.
The age of the couples ranged greatly, from some who had only just turned 20, to another couple who had been betrothed for eight years.
