Rescuers believe the dog fell through the ice on a pond at a local golf course. While the animal was able to pull itself out of the freezing water, its tail got stuck, stranding it in the middle of the pond.A worker at the Peter Yegen Jr Golf Club in Billings, Montana, saw the animal on Friday morning and raised the alarm.
Firefighters had to break up the ice around the dog's tail before hauling the giant dog back to shore
