طُعنت المصرية مروة الشربيني التي قتلت عن 31 عامًا بثماني عشرة طعنة بالسكين الأربعاء الماضي، عندما كانت تدلي بأقوالها في محكمة دريسدن بالمانيا بشأن إساءة المتطرف الألماني إليها على خلفية تدينها كمسلمة قبل عدة أشهر عندما كانت مع طفلها في إحدى الحدائق العامة المخصصة للأطفال في مدينة دريسدن
كما أصاب المتطرف زوج مروة الشربيني، علوي علي عكاز، المدرس المساعد بمعهد الهندسة الوراثية بجامعة المنوفية المصرية، بجروح خطيرة، وتمكن رجال الشرطة من السيطرة على الجاني -28 عامًا- وهو من مواليد روسيا
وقتلت الصيدلانية مروة أمام ابنها مصطفى -3 أعوام- الذي تم نقله بعد الحادث إلى إحدى دور الرعاية
وكان المتهم الألماني قد سبَّ مروة في حديقة الأطفال بسبب خلافٍ على أرجوحة مخصصة للأطفال داخل الحديقة، حيث وصفها بـ"الإرهابية" عندما استأذنته في التخلي عن أرجوحة الأطفال التي كان يجلس عليها لصالح طفلها
وأقامت مروة دعوى ضد الشاب الألماني انتهت بالحكم بتغريمه 750 يورو، وقرر المتهم استئناف الحكم، واستغل جلسة الاستئناف لتوجيه طعنات للفقيدة داخل قاعة المحكمة
وأثارت هذه الواقعة حالةً من الغضب الشديد سواء في مصر أو في أوساط المصريين المقيمين في ألمانيا

On July 1, as a pregnant Sherbini prepared to give evidence against a German man of Russian descent who had been convicted and fined for trying to remove Sherbini's headscarf and calling her a terrorist, the man ran across the courtroom and stabbed her 18 times.

A 28-year old German man stabbed Egyptian national Marwa Sherbini 18 times in Dresden courthouse before she gives evidence against court appeal. Marwa Sherbini a 32-year-old Egyptian pharmacist was suing her attacker after he insulted her for wearing the Islamic headscarf. Marwa took her 3-year old son Mostapha to play in a Dresden park. A German man, identified only as Axel W, insulted her because of wearing headscarf and called her a "terrorist". She filed a case against him in German courts after the incident. When she won the case, the court fined him the €780 for having abused her. But German man appealed against the verdict. When the woman's husband attempted to shield her from the attacker, he was shot by those same security personnel. Son of Marwa were present in the court room. German officials rejected to hand over son to Egyptian embassy and set him to an orphanage after incident.
