For many, making music is more than just a hobby. It’s therapeutic and a way to express emotions and thoughts too difficult to say with words alone.
Such is the case for father Jayce Correia. Eight years ago, the songwriter became a father to a baby boy named Jared, who is disabled.
After suffering a stroke in utero, Jared was born with epilepsy, cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus. The devastating mix of conditions left the child blind, mute and physically disabled.
