Sculptor and illustrator Jeremy Mayer started working with typewriters in 1994 while living in a small town in Iowa.
Mayer disassembles the typewriters and then reassembles them into full-scale, anatomically correct human figures. He also creates animals and insects from typewriter origins.
What is particularly amazing: he doesn't solder, weld, or glue these sculpture together - the process is entirely cold assembly.
