An oil painting by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is sold at a charity auction in St. Petersburg, Russia, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009.The painting was bought by Natalia Kurnikova, owner of a Moscow art gallery, for 37 million rubles (US $ 1.1 million).The funds fetched at the auction will be used for the opening of the center for the diagnosis of oncological diseases and for other needs of St. Petersburg.
