March 19 in Mumbai, India Victoria Memorial School for blind children in India has performed the traditional pole dance (Mallakhamb). They can easily twist the body into various shapes, round wooden posts erected around a towering humanoid form pyramids, as well as students can use the inverted head round wooden pillars. "Malla" means wrestlers, "Khamba" refers to the post. In this movement, the performers need to use a 2.6-meter-tall teak or fir columns. Lower cylinder circumference of 55 cm, gradually narrowing upwards, the top timber column circumference is only 35 cm.

In Luliang County of Qujiang City of Yunnan province, a fish buried in mud has its mouth wide open trying desperately to breath. Unfortunately, it is already dead, though it is frozen in swimming posture. Everywhere within the cracks of the dried-up lake bed are little fish that have met misfortune.A villager surnamed Zhang sighed, “Over the past 40 years, this lake has never dried up.” When the lake dried up, villagers came and took away the large fish. The smaller ones, took a desperately dove into the mud, eventually dying slowly as the lake’s water vanished. Seeing it is heartbreaking.

Palestinians feel that the story of Avatar precisely depicts their problem with Israelis and United States through history.

Palestinian protesters have added a colorful twist to demonstrations against Israel's separation barrier, painting themselves blue and posing as characters from the hit film "Avatar."
The demonstrators also donned long hair and loincloths Friday for the weekly protest against the barrier near the village of Bilin. They equated their struggle to the intergalactic one portrayed in the film.

Wuxi aims to become ecologically sound city

BEIJING: Wuxi, a city in Jiangsu province, has vowed to continue its efforts to clean up Taihu Lake and become China's first ecologically sound city this year.
Mao Xiaoping, the city's mayor, is determined to turn the previous manufacturing center in East China into a high-tech base with low carbon emissions and low pollution.
"Wuxi aims to form a modern industrial pattern focusing on new energy, bio-technology and pharmaceutical industry. We will also boost the development of ecological agriculture," Mao said on the sidelines of the ongoing annual session of the National People's Congress (NPC). Continue here

A car which is powered by coffee beans has completed a 210 mile journey from London to Manchester, just.Dubbed "car-puccino" the vehicle used the equivalent of more than 10,000 espressos to make the trip - interrupted by filter cleaning and coffee refuelling stops every 70 miles.The 1988 VW Scirocco was converted by BBC Bang Goes The Theory host Jem Stansfield, to turn coffee grounds into flammable gasses that can be used in the engine instead of petrol.As the car arrived in Manchester cab driver tooted their horn and people waved and shouted at the car.Jem said of the car, built to promote The Big Bang fair in Manchester: "It's important for kids to understand that power is not something that is mystically there, simply at the flick of a switch or by pushing a pedal. "With the energy challenge that is facing the world, the more we encourage children to think about alternative fuels, where energy is stored and how it can be released, the better! "This is one of the aims of The Big Bang and something that our Bang Goes the Theory team wanted to show in action. "Everyone recognises that coffee can give a person a bit of a boost, but many probably had no idea it had enough energy locked away to power a car!"

Infuriated by having to carry around bulky UK plugs thicker than his laptop, Choi developed a system that folds down to a width of just 10mm.The product is such an elegant and useful design it will surely find a much larger market than the travelling population it was created for. Choi has also expanded the concept to include a three appliance multi-plug and USB charger, allowing the use of multiple devices while still only taking up the space of a single traditional plug.

The service starts at 7 p.m. Funeral attire is encouraged. Those unable to attend are asked to send flowers.And guess who sent flowers, Microsoft.
